How do I manage the e-mail notifications that I'm getting from Shipvine?

Shipvine's systems can send you automated e-mails when interesting events happen, like an incoming order from your website (known as an "API Submission") has a problem and gets moved to candidate requests, or when an inbound shipment is done processing.

Managing notifications in Shipvine Logistics

To manage your notification preferences for Shipvine Logistics, go to https://logistics.shipvine.com/preferences/show and click the Edit button.

For each notification kind, choose how you'd like to get notified. Then click "Save". Here's the secret decoder ring:
  • Suppressed means we won't e-mail you when that event happens.
  • Immediate means we'll e-mail you as soon as the event happens.
  • Digest means that instead of sending an individual e-mail alert, we'll roll them up into one summary e-mail that we send every three hours or so. (We won't send an e-mail if there are no new notifications to report.)

Managing notifications in Shipvine Bills

If your account is configured to have access to Shipvine Bills so you can view and pay invoices for your company, you can sign up for some notifications there to. Just head to https://bills.shipvine.com/preferences/show and click the "Edit" button. Choose the kinds of e-mails you want to get, and then click "Save".

Managing notifications in Shipvine Sync

For certain special cases, the Shipvine Sync system can send you an e-mail when processing a background task fails. The most common scenario is when you've uploaded a file to our FTP server, and the system couldn't make sense of what you sent. The "Task Failed" notification will spit the file back at you and let you know that you need to try again.

To turn on this setting, head to https://sync.shipvine.com/preferences/show and click "Edit". Check or uncheck the box, and then click "Save".
