How do I quickly enter inbound shipments using the Quick Paste feature?

If you're creating an inbound shipment to tell us what you're shipping to our warehouse, you can save time by using the "Quick Paste" feature to quickly enter the lines.

First, you'd fill in the general information about the shipment such as the "Merchant Identifier" and the "Date Expected". When you get to the "Lines" section, we can cheat and save a lot of time if you have this information handy in an Excel spreadsheet.

Click the "Quick Paste" button, and a dialog box pops up with an empty text field.

Next, switch to the Excel spreadsheet where you have your SKU and quantity information. If necessary, rearrange the columns in the document so that your SKU is in one column, and the quantity expected is in the column immediately to the right of it, like this:

(If you have column headers, make sure they say "MERCHANT IDENTIFIER" and "QUANTITY" so Logistics will skip over them. Alternatively, you can just choose not to highlight the column header.)

Next, highlight all of the rows that you want to copy over and click "Copy" under the "Clipboard" section of the ribbon. Then switch back to your web browser where you had the inbound shipment screen open, and paste into the textbox. Then click "Process", and poof! the lines are added to the form, and you can hit "Save" to complete the inbound shipment.
