The main object of interest in the Shipvine Logistics system is the
fulfillment request. The reason we use this term instead of something like "sales order" is because we encourage you to not treat our system as an order management system; instead, you tell us to ship something, and we tell you how we shipped it. Because merchants run their businesses differently, they could ship an order in two parts weeks apart, and they'd be reflected as two different fulfillment requests in our system, sent at different times. However, for the vast majority of business-to-consumer (B2C, or "retail") orders, there's a one-to-one correspondence between orders in your e-commerce platform and fulfillment requests in Shipvine Logistics.
